ISLAMABAD: CDA has allotted an amount of Rs.602 million for supply of electricity to the I-11 Sector of the city. The amount has been allocated to the Mechanical-I Division of the Authority for construction of Grid Station – Feeder Line in I-11 sector.
This allocation of funds to the I-11 sector for the supply of electricity has been made on the Chairman CDA’s directions and is a part of the CDA Administration’s comprehensive strategy to develop residential sectors in Islamabad and uplift its infrastructure.
Since the appointment of the present Capital Development Authority Administration, CDA has taken several steps towards the development of the I-11 sector which was neglected for years. CDA is currently working on the construction of four box culverts in the I-11/2 sector in order to improve pedestrian movement and drainage system in the area. In addition to that, CDA is also working on the Storm Management System in I-11.
Along with the I-11 sector, CDA is focusing on development of many other neglected residential areas in Islamabad as well, including I-12, I-15 and E-12. Development work in Park Enclave phase 1 is almost completed due to the efforts of the current CDA Administration while development work of phase 2 is about to begin.
