Islamabad: CDA Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed on January 11th said that the authority is making all efforts to restore the natural beauty of the federal capital by utilizing its available resources.
He has directed the department of MPO, street lights, and sanitation to accelerate the pace of work for restoration and beautification of the capital’s infrastructure.
The infrastructure of Islamabad is expected to be restored within a few months. CDA is committed to providing the best facilities to the residents by restoring the natural beauty of the city, the Chairman added. He said that the authority has initiated multiple projects regarding restoration & beautification of the infrastructure of the city, and other development works.
He directed the environment department to add a flower bed at the Jinnah Avenue to enhance its beauty. The Sewerage & Sanitation Department has also been directed to ensure the cleanliness of all the main holes and gutters in the city. Best sanitation services must be provided to the residents. There will no compromise on the capital’s cleanliness.
Lastly, the Chairman directed the department of street lights to restore all the city’s street lights within two months. He asked the department of the environment to upgrade the parks, clean the green belts, and plant more trees for enhancing the capital’s beauty.
